In 2025, she established her own business to provide patients with the highest standard of personalised care, ensuring their individual needs remain the top priority. Most appointments now happen at one of the clinics — Durham, Sacriston, Prudhoe, Stanley — where there is a proper chair and a proper light and you are in and out. The equipment is portable, though, which is where this started: for anybody who does not drive or cannot easily leave the house, the same appointment happens at their own kitchen table instead. For a lot of people that is the difference between getting it done and putting it off again.

Every appointment starts with a look inside both ears, and sometimes the answer is that there is very little wax there. You get told that, rather than a procedure you did not need.
